Approx. 2 year old neutered male, shots, microchipped
Ideal Placing: Winery , Vineyard, or Attentive Farm
Flow's Personality: independent, people shy, but not feral. Not a lap cat , likely best as indoor/outdoor or well- cared for work cat environment.
Like the Academy-Award winning animated film about a resilient black cat, Flowâs journey is one of quiet resilience, This gentle two-year-old black cat was first rescued from the mean streets near Wildcat Canyon during a dangerous winter surge in coyote activityâa time when many neighborhood cats tragically didnât survive. Flow made it out just in time. With the help of the wonderful team at Community Concern for Cats in Clayton, we got him fully vettedâneutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a loving home. We chose not to clip his ear, always hoping heâd become a cherished family member.
We placed him with a neighbor who had lost her own black cat to coyotes, believing it would be a perfect match. Unfortunately, instead of following our instructions to help Flow acclimate, he was confined to a basement crawlspace for months. When the family moved, they abandoned him. We rescued him once again and brought him back to safety. Now, Flow is safe in our catio, enjoying warmth, soft music, and all the comforts we can provide, but he deserves more than just safety. He deserves a true home.
Weâre looking for a compassionate, patient person and property who can be Flowâs heroâsomeone who understands that trust takes time. We donât just drop a cat off and leave; weâre here to support his transition with follow-ups, supplies, and any help needed. We want this to be a success for Flow and for the home that welcomes him.
If you have a heart of gold and the patience to let Flow bloom on his own terms, or if you know of a safe place that can offer him a stable environment, weâd love to hear from you. Flow has survived so much, and heâs ready for a home that will never give up on him again.
